 I have to say the larger number and count on the smaller digit. I try not to use my fingers but count by punching the air.

• we can sing in time with the music

I am learning to talk about the characters, setting and plot of the stories I read with my group.
I am also learning to read a little faster so that it sounds like talking.

• use the techniques of sketching, using the correct brush strokes, colour mixing, texturing, and applying a black border.
• communicate and interpret my idea of a kowhaiwhai pattern.
