·    To compose and create a rap (with beat if possible) about bullying
How did you go about achieving this? Came up with rhyming words with Cayden and Marcus.
What resources were used to help you? Used our device, Mr McCallum's rhyming words and used HTML 5 drum kit to create a beat.
Did you go through the process on your own or collaborate with other people? I collaborated with Cayden and Marcus.
How did you find the process? I found it hard because we had one and then lost it.
What did you enjoy most about the process of creating a rap? I enjoyed writing.
What  might be your next step? I would like to write a little bit more next time.

(We looked at what is Hip Hop and the 4 elements of it. We watched some rap videos on bullying. We were given an environmental rap in groups and had to learn and perform it. We looked at how rap is composed, and wrote some rhyming couplets about school. We were given a page of rhyming words that could be used and started the process of creating a rap. We were given ideas for creating a backbeat via a website – HTML5 – Drum Kit

I can work with anyone no matter who they are if i feel like it or not and i will always be nice to them no matter what the cause is.
And i just liked the part on the last day we played a game of zombies and.I managed to get 10 people.

I just give it my best really and i just no matter what it is i do it and you might want to practise or you will never get better so practise practise practise

WALT: create artist inspired artwork

So what? On Monday I started my first draft. This was drawn with pencil and then after I started my second draft.

Then after that I had to start my good copy or i would have not gotten it done by myself. I had some help from my friends that were done otherwise I would have not got it done. I'm glad I had my friends there to help me.

I learnt that whatever was blank or chalk would turn black with the dye.

I learnt how to blend colours and how to put them side by side. I learnt what colours look good together, these are called complementary colours. I tried to use colours that went well together in the patterns.

Now what?
Next time I would want to complete it all by myself without getting my friends to help me.

MultiplicationWALT: use repeated addition to solve multiplication problems.

I have learned to use repeated addition to help me solve multiplication problems. I can add the numbers together to get the answers. 


Example:4 x 3 = 123+3+3+3=125 x 7=355 + 5 + 5 + 5 + 5 +5 + 5 = 354 x 4=164 + 4 + 4 + 4 = 163 x 9 =279 + 9 + 9 = 27

WALT solve division problems using equal sharing.


I have learned how to share the counters out into groups to work out how many are in each group. 3Examples:  














Maths - Measurement

WALT read and explain everyday time problems.

I was learning how to tell the time.

  • If the big hand is on the 1 and the small hand is on the 12 it is 1.00.
  • The big hand points to the hour.
  • The small hand points to the minute.
  • The hand that moves quickly is the seconds hand.
  • am is the morning
  • pm is the afternoon/night

I like to use digital clocks because they are easier than analogue clocks. I have a digital clock at home that I can read the time on.
